Covid-19

Due to the pandemic, we ask all our visitors and guests for higher caution and responsibility. Remember, no travel is risk-free during COVID. Before you travel please ensure yourself with all restrictions or new rules which might occur on short notice. Check with your travel company, airline, or official sites of your country for any changes which may cause any complications for your journey.

Here are some general tips from World Health Organization (WHO)

  • Wash all parts of your hands frequently and properly with an alcohol-based hand rub, soap, and water, including after exchanging objects such as money or credit cards. Look for hand sanitizer stations and use them before going into dining halls, restaurants, or bars.

  • Cover a cough or sneeze with a bent elbow or tissue, and throw away the tissue in a closed bin.

  • Maintain at least a 1-meter distance from staff and other guests. If you can’t guarantee the distance, wear a mask. Be sure to check local and national guidelines on the use of masks and other rules.

If you think you might have symptoms of coronavirus you should call the Georgian Emergency number 112 or 1505. The Georgian National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has published a list of laboratories carrying out COVID-19 testing, both quick and PCR tests. The list of facilities can be found here. The list is in Georgian only. If you test positive for COVID-19, you may need to stay where you are until you test negative. You may also need to seek treatment there.
